……..

Dedicated to cultural diplomacy through the visual arts, the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Art in Embassies is forging new public art models for U.S. diplomatic missions overseas. Highlighting Anton Ginzburg’s recent outdoor commission, Stargaze: Orion, at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Tanguy and Ginzburg will discuss the development of thematically specific work, the importance of cross-cultural exchange, and the special parameters of placing art on diplomatic grounds.
